<h4>Objectives</h4>
<p>Systems Biology is the fastest-growing research area in the biological sciences.  This course looks at post-genomic biology, from data integration to the application of computational and mathematical models of biological systems.</p>
<h4>Contents</h4>
<p>This course will help participants to: <ul> <li> Understand the development of new experimental techniques that have been developed post-genome to perform systems biology.</li> <li>Construct connections between the different -omic datasets and between datasets from different experimental techniques.</li>  <li>Analyse and evaluate biological datasets to determine which data are important for model construction.</li>  <li>Apply appropriate mathematical techniques to systems model building.</li>  <li>Evaluate the predictive power of the computational and mathematical models.</li>  <li>Use the models to suggest new experiments.</li>  </ul></p>
